Description

Der Magier Dr. Parnassus reist mit seiner Theatertruppe in einem klapprigen Varieté-Vehikel durch die Lande. Die besondere Attraktion des Wunder-Kabinetts auf Rädern ist ein Zauberspiegel, durch den man sein ganz eigenes fantastisches Universum treten kann. Dr. Parnassus hütet zudem ein dunkles Geheimnis: Vor Jahren schloss er einen Pakt mit dem unheimlichen Mr. Nick, mit dem er die Zukunft seiner Tochter Valentina aufs Spiel gesetzt hat. Um Valentina zu retten, lässt er sich auf eine allerletzte Wette mit Mr. Nick ein.
