The 2003 crime drama WHITE RUSH is directed by cult favorite Mark L. Lester (Commando, Firestarter, Class of 1984) and is based on the novel "White Rush, Green Fire" adapted to screenplay by C. Cortney Joyner (Lurking Fear, Doctor Mordrid). It's the story of a group of friends out camping when they suddenly find themselves in the middle of a drug deal gone wrong...and decide they should sell the drugs themselves and become rich. An all-star cast add to the value of this direct-to-video entry stars Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire) and Luis Mandylor (My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2023, Rambo: Last Blood) as the cop turned crooked. Also notable cast member Taylor Sheridan in the role of "Tug" who has later gone on to become a superstar TV show writer/creator (Yellowstone, Tulsa King). WHITE RUSH maintains a level of suspense before it comes to a surprise twist at the end.
