Smoky is a 1946 American Western film directed by Louis King and starring Fred MacMurray, Anne Baxter, and Jack Holt. The film is about a young cowboy named Bud Martin (MacMurray) who is determined to break a wild mustang named Smoky. Bud eventually succeeds in breaking Smoky and the two become inseparable. However, when Bud is forced to sell Smoky to a rodeo promoter, he vows to get him back.
